Tuneagers partners with schools, homeschool groups and organizations to deliver customized music workshops, programs, and courses that inspire connection. Programs are available both in person and virtually and can be tailored to meet the needs of each community.
Hi! My name is Aimee Bobruk and I am a professional musician, singer, songwriter, and music teacher with over 20 years experience in the music industry. I split my time between Austin, Texas, and Copenhagen, Denmark, and have written and released multiple albums of original music.
I collaborate with publishing companies and artists as a lyricist and melody writer. In 2015, my song, “Black Swan,” was performed in Eurovision's Melodifestivalen in Sweden. I have over 50 co-writes released worldwide with songs receiving nominations for a Norwegian Spellemann and German Schallplatten Critics Award. Fellowships include the BMI Woody Guthrie, Marguerite and Lamar Smith (Columbus State University) and Shenandoah National Park Artist in Resident.
Recently, I was the Arts Education Director for an online world-wide community of self-directed learners. Helping design arts based virtual classes inspired me to reshape the way I teach and interact with music students. While I continue to host live and virtual music lessons in private and small group formates, I compliment and support learning through an online community.
Today I am building what I know to be the first ever online songwriting community exclusively for teens called Tuneagers - Teen. This community is designed to help teens find and develop their unique “voice” through songwriting. We meet weekly and write songs together.
