Tuneagers is a songwriting club where you’ll meet other aspiring songwriters from all over the world, learn how to write your own songs, establish a voice as an artist, and start to build an audience for your music. Whether you’re already a songwriter or have always wanted to try writing songs, this club is for you!

Find your voice. Share your story.

Learning how to write songs is a skill that takes some instruction and lots of regular practice. This can be challenging to do alone (not to mention, a lot less fun!), so … join a community of your peers, learn everything you need to know about songwriting and get the support you need to practice your craft!

You’ll meet professional songwriters who will teach you the tricks of the trade and provide direct feedback and encouragement as you learn how to tell stories in 4 minutes or less.

You’ll be a part of a community of your peers and, together, you’ll curate the content according to your interests. Tuneagers is YOUR community! Do you want to learn how to write rhymes from a professional hip-hop artist? Are you interested in co-writing a rock opera? Tell us! And we’ll find someone who’ll show up and share their knowledge with you.

You’ll make friends and learn how to co-write with them—a skill that will come in handy in the collaborative world of music! (Did you know, very few singers—not even Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, or Justin Timberlake!—write 100% of their songs?)

You’ll grow (exponentially!) as a songwriter, a storyteller, a collaborator, and an artist. 

One-on-one music lessons are a great way to learn how to play music. A songwriting club, like Tuneagers, helps you learn how to make music. With up to eight hours of hands-on learning opportunities each month, you’ll build your songwriting skills and accelerate your transformation as a songwriter while building a social network with other music-loving teens from around the world. We are a self-directed and project-based club with encouraged events, no requirements. Learn at your own pace, in your own way! 

Tuneagers is built on 4 pillars: TuneUp, TuneOut, FineTune, and TuneIn, through which you’ll learn about all the aspects of being a songwriter, including:

• Lyric and melody writing

• How to develop a daily songwriting practice

• Music theory fundamentals

• Recording 

• How to release songs on popular platforms like Spotify, Apple, and Amazon

• Performing

• Booking gigs

• Creating an engaging social media presence

• Growing a fan base

TuneUp:  This weekly short video reveals a bite-sized nugget of songwriting know how - a practice, pro tip, or trick to use in your own music making. 

 TuneOut: This weekly live virtual workshop, led by a professional songwriter, is where you’ll try the TuneUp challenge, learn new songwriting techniques, share songs and ideas, and collaborate with one another.

FineTune: Each month, we’ll host a  live virtual showcase where you can opt to perform for your pals in the club. This is a safe place to try out new songs and get valuable help and feedback on songs-in-progress.

TuneIn: As a member, you’ll be invited to tune in to special virtual events—concerts, round robins with professional songwriters, masterclasses with industry experts—all designed to inspire you in your songwriting journey.

• A community of teen musicians who are passionate about writing original music—all levels are welcome!

• 24/7 private platform where members can chat, ask questions, share their songs, and be supported by other teen musicians.

• Potential collaborators from around the world! Magic happens when members connect on our platform and through live events: Find a guitar player or a vocalist. Even form a band!

• Live virtual workshops with professional songwriters, which will provide structured learning and social time for members wanting the challenge of taking their songwriting to the next level.

• Practical tools and proven frameworks for writing better lyrics, navigating situations like writer's block, understanding music theory and chord structures, recording amazing demos, publishing original music, and how to get gigs and grow a fanbase.

• Performance showcases that give members practice performing and a space to try out new works in progress.

• Special events with guest performing artists and music industry specialists ready to share tips and tricks of the trade.

• Curated resources to inspire your growth as a songwriter, including online music apps, YouTube videos, book lists, websites, favorite podcasts, playlists, and more.

 Hi! My name is Aimee and I'm a professional musician, songwriter, and music teacher with over 15 years experience in the music industry. I split my time between Austin, Texas, and Copenhagen, Denmark, and have written and released multiple albums of original music. I also collaborate with publishing companies and artists as a lyricist and melody writer. In 2015, my song, “Black Swan,” was performed in Eurovision's Melodifestivalen in Sweden. I have over 25 co-writes released worldwide and two Grammy nominations. Recently, I was the Arts Education Director for an online world-wide community of self-directed learners. Helping design arts based virtual classes spurred me to launch my passion project—Tuneagers! As far as I know, we are the first online songwriting community exclusively for teens. I can't wait to write, hang out, and create something with you!

• Steps to becoming a member:

  3. Submit the age verification form.
  4. The host will approve your submission.
  5. The account holder (teen) will receive an email from "Mighty Networks" to enter payment. Members will be charged for the selected plan at the end of the 2 week free trial unless membership is canceled.
